Notice is hereby given that bids are being solicited by the County of Placer to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, tax, and services necessary for the MARTIS VALLEY TRAIL – SEGMENT 3B (the "Project").  Work generally includes constructing a new pathway; grading; paving; applying signing and striping, erosion control, and other items and details, not mentioned above, that are required by the plans, specifications or these Special Provisions for the Project.

The Contractor will be required to maintain and warranty Landscaping and Vegetation Items, including Erosion Control (Dry Seed), for a period of one year from the acceptance of the project by the Board of Supervisors.

The engineer's estimate for the Base Bid is $3,420,494.

There is a DBE Contract goal of 9 percent for this project.

Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the scope of work, terms, conditions, and requirements contained in the Bid Invitation and associated attachments.

Pre-bid Conference:  A pre-bid job walk for informational purposes will be held on August 6, 2020 at 10:30 am at the Castle Peak parking lot, 150 Northstar Dr. Truckee, CA 96161. Directions: West on Northstar Drive from Hwy. 267, right at first roundabout, right into parking lot.
