Notice is hereby given that bids are being solicited by the County of Placer to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, tax, and services necessary for the PLACER COUNTY EASTERN REGIONAL LANDFILL, INC., PAVEMENT REPAIR PROJECT PHASE 1 - MATERIALS RECOVERY FACILITY PROJECT NO. PJ02774 The Work consists generally of the following: All Work improvements including, but not limited to; demolition of existing asphalt pavement structural section, storm manhole collars and G-5 boxes, over-excavating to new finished subgrade depth, off-hauling of materials to on-site location; preparation of subgrade, installing new pre-cast G-5 valve boxes, storm drain manhole extensions and reinforced concrete collars; protecting existing utilities, concrete swale and manhole structures; new aggregate base and asphalt concrete pavement; and, one new storm drain manhole lid. Providing temporary best management practices (BMPs) devices for erosion control; and traffic control as required by the plans, specifications and special conditions.
Bids are required for the entire work described herein. Pricing is required for both the Base Bid and all Additive Bid items. The bid, if it is awarded, shall be awarded based on the lowest Base Bid price without consideration of the prices on the additive items. Additive alternates may be awarded if sufficient funding is available. Construction License: The successful bidder must possess at all times, at minimum, a valid California Class A license issued by the State of California. Submission of Proposals: Bids must be received by the County prior to the hour and date of the bid opening. Bids shall be submitted to the bids&tenders™ website. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the scope of work, terms, conditions, and requirements contained in the Bid Invitation and associated attachments. The opening of the bids will be conducted via Microsoft Teams immediately after the bid Closing Date and time. Any bids received after the bid Closing Date and time specified shall be returned unopened.
