The
County of Placer is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified
firms for the preparation of Environmental Impact Reports (EIRs). The Placer County
Environmental Review Ordinance requires that EIRs prepared for private and
public projects must be prepared by consultants under contract to Placer County. This provision is mandatory for all
projects. The County enters into
three-party contracts with the Consultant and the applicant for the preparation
of such EIRs. The County will negotiate
and enter into a contract directly with the Consultant for the preparation of
EIRs for projects undertaken by the County. The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to establish a Qualified List of firms for the preparation of EIRs. Qualified firms will be selected based on qualifications in accordance with the provisions of this RFQ. The resulting list will be valid for a period of three (3) years from the date of award with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods. |
