Placer County is soliciting competitive bids for Courier Service on behalf of the Document Solutions Division and the Placer County Library. Services will be provided in accordance with a routine schedule.  Bids will be evaluated and compared on the basis of the sum of the extended prices of all bid items.  Prompt payment discounts offered and local vendor preference will be included in the evaluation.  The successful bidder must provide services for all routes described in the bid.  A contract will be awarded on an all-or-none basis to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for an approximate initial one-year term with possible annual renewals.  All pricing shall remain firm for the initial contract period. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions contained in the Bid Invitation and associated attachments.
