Placer County is soliciting competitive bids for the purchase of various corrugated metal pipe for the County's Road Maintenance Division.  Purchases will be made on an as-needed basis.  Bids will be compared on the basis of the sum of the extended prices of all line items.  Local Vendor Preference and prompt payment discounts will be considered in the bid evaluation.  A supplier contract will be awarded in the total not-to-exceed amount of $75,000.00 for an approximate one-year period.  The resulting contract may be extended on a year-to-year basis at the discretion of the County pursuant to section 15 of the General Terms and Conditions of this bid solicitation.  Placer County makes no specific guarantee of a minimum or maximum dollar amount or quantities to be purchased during the term of the contract.  Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions contained in the Bid Documents.
