The County of Placer is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Managed Cyber Security Operations Center (SOC) Services. To improve the County’s information security posture, the Information Technology Department (ITD) needs increased visibility into activity within cloud-based and on-premises information technology environments. Timely detection of malicious cyber activity and potential cyberattacks is critical to preventing or minimizing the impact of cyberincidents to the County of Placer’s technology environment and information assets. Increases to the volume and sophistication of modern cyber attacks have identified the necessity for 24x7 cybersecurity monitoring and response. 

This RFP will result in the award of a contract to be effective for an initial term of approximately two (2) years, with an option to renew the contract for two additional one-year periods, at the County’s discretion.  It is anticipated that the selected proposer will begin service as quickly as possible after award of the contract.
