The County of Placer is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide full service architectural and engineering design services for the remodel of Building 117 at the Placer County Government Center in Auburn, CA. Services will include: Assessment of existing conditions; programming and scope confirmation; design, permitting and bidding; construction administration; and assistance during the one-year contractor warranty period. The County will not contract with a separate construction management consultant for this project. The team will be expected to help the County design the project within the grant funds available.

This Request for Proposals (RFP) will result in the award of a contract to a single firm or organization.  The initial contract award will include services in Step 1 – Assessment and Confirmation as described in Section 6.0 of this RFP.  Upon successful completion of Step 1, and at the County’s option, a contract may be negotiated with the successful consultant for the tasks identified in Step 2, which includes the remaining tasks.
