Notice is hereby given that bids are being solicited by the County of Placer to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, tax, and services necessary for the Placer County PLACER COUNTY HIGHWAY 49 WASTEWATER CAPACITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT – PHASE 1, BID NO.20482, PROJECT NO. PJ02412.

The work to be done, in general, includes construction of a sewer force main, new gravity sewer lines, air release valves, odor control systems, sewer manholes, and miscellaneous ancillary work on roadways, and other items and details, not mentioned above, that are required by the plans, specifications or the Special Provisions.

The Engineer’s Estimate for this project is $9,200,000.

Pre-bid Conference: will be held on January 31, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Office of Procurement Services, located at 2964 Richardson Drive, Auburn, CA 95603.

Construction License: The successful bidder must possess at all times, at minimum, a valid California Class A license issued by the State of California.

Submission of Proposals: Bids must be received by the County prior to the hour and date of the bid opening. Bids shall be submitted to the bids&tenders™ website.

Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the scope of work, terms, conditions, and requirements contained in the Bid Invitation and associated attachments.

The opening of the bids will be conducted via Microsoft Teams immediately after the bid Closing Date and time.  Any bids received after the bid Closing Date and time specified shall be returned unopened.
