The County of Placer is soliciting proposals for space planning, design layout, and the purchase and installation of furniture for the Placer County Auburn Library located at 350 Nevada Street, Auburn, California. Furniture will include all new shelving, merchandising displays, public service desk, counter spaces, public workstations, soft seating, and staff furniture for the first floor (18,008 SF) and soft seating and staff furniture on the second floor (3,324 SF). The Auburn Library is currently under construction for infrastructure upgrades and is estimated to be completed on March 31, 2026. Furniture installation will need to be completed immediately following the completion of construction. This RFP will result in a two-phase contract with the successful bidder. Phase I will include furniture design services and Phase II will include the purchase and installation of the selected furniture. |
