The County of Placer is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms and/or individuals to provide broadband infrastructure hardware installation and internet service to multiple project locations throughout the County.  Locations of where services may be required include any County community with a demonstrated need for broadband services to meet or exceed the minimum federal standard of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload speeds. Preference will be given to providers that can establish symmetrical service greater than 100 Mbps.

The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to establish a Qualified List of firms to provide broadband infrastructure hardware installation and internet service on an as-needed basis.  The County intends to name approximately ten qualified Contractors to the List, which shall be valid for three (3) years from the date of award, with an option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods.
