Placer County is soliciting competitive bids on behalf of the Department of Child Support Services for armed guard security services for as-needed.  The Contractor shall provide security for Placer County staff, and the general public who visit the facility on a daily basis.  The role of the Security Officer is to provide excellent customer service; to screen visitors for illegal weapons before allowing access to our suite; to maintain daily screening records; and to provide security to our staff and the public at all times. It is our goal to maintain an atmosphere where our valued customers are welcomed to the department by the Security Officer and are treated with respect and dignity. This bid shall result in the award of one  Supplier Contracts  in the maximum amount of $50,000 for an approximate initial one-year term with possible annual renewals. Estimated time for service to begin is July 1, 2021.
