Placer County is inviting proposals from qualified organizations to provide external evaluation services for a behavioral health pilot program entitled, Lotus: Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center. Lotus is designed to fill a major gap in the crisis continuum by serving people experiencing a behavioral health crisis yet who too often receive unsuitable and costly services in the emergency department. Lotus will be implemented by Placer County Health and Human Services, Adult System of Care Division to provide a short-term, welcoming environment at its Cirby Hills Campus in Roseville, that is less restrictive than a hospital and services that encourage transition back to the community. The County expects Lotus to be operational in summer 2022 and serve and estimated 900 people during its first full year in operation. This RFP includes a description of the scope of work, proposal requirements, and instructions for submitting your proposal.
