Description: 

Placer County is soliciting bids for a contractor(s) to furnish all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, tools and services necessary to perform French Meadows area Mechanical Thinning and Meadow Restoration as described in this Bid No. 20448.  

  • There will be an escorted Pre-Bid Job Walk into the Tahoe National Forest in the area of French Meadows to view and inspect various project treatment areas on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 9:00am - 3:00pm. We will be meeting at Raley's (in the parking spaces facing Lincoln Way) @ 13384 Lincoln Way Auburn CA. 95603.

The County has estimated the total cost of the Work to be three million two hundred thousand dollars ($3,200,000.00).
