Notice is hereby given that bids are being solicited by the County of Placer on behalf of Western Waste Management Authority “WPWMA” to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, tax, and services necessary for the COMPOST LEACHATE POND IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, BID NO. 20214. The Work generally consist of concrete saw cutting, concrete demolition and reconstruction, excavation of approximately 31,000 cubic yards of soil, installation of a dual layer pond liner system consisting of geomembrane, geocomposite and geotextile in an approximately 100,000 square foot pond floor area, construction of approximately 3,000 lineal feet of 6” diameter HDPE pipeline, installation of a pond aeration system, and related electrical, controls, piping and appurtenances.
The engineer's estimate for the Base Bid is $1,900,000.
The number of working days for this project is 60.
Questions regarding the Work or the contract Documents shall be submitted online on the bids&tenders™ website.
Inquiries or questions based on alleged patent ambiguity of the plans, specifications or estimate must be communicated as a bidder inquiry prior to bid opening. Any such inquiries or questions, submitted after bid opening, will not be treated as a bid protest. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the scope of work, terms, conditions, and requirements contained in the Bid Invitation and associated attachments.
Pre-bid Conference: A pre-bid job walk for informational purposes will be held on July 27, 2021 at 9:00 am at the project site.
Construction License: The successful bidder must possess at all times, at minimum, a valid California Class A license or a combination of California Class C licenses which constitutes a majority of the work.
