Notice is hereby given that bids are being solicited by the County of Placer to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, tax, and services necessary for the PLACER COUNTY ALTA FORESTRY ROAD SLOPE STABILIZATION PROJECT, BID NO. 20321. The work to be done, in general, includes constructing a soldier pile retaining wall, installing a cross culvert, constructing curb and gutter, road reconstruction, and relocating a water line, and other items and details, not mentioned above, that are required by the plans, specifications or the Special Provisions. The Engineer’s Estimate for this project is $1,286,230. The number of working days for this project is 30. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the scope of work, terms, conditions, and requirements contained in the Bid Invitation and associated attachments. Construction License: The successful bidder must possess at all times, at minimum, a valid California Class A license or a combination of California Class C licenses which constitutes a majority of the work. Submission of Proposals: Bids must be received by the County prior to the hour and date of the bid opening. Bids shall be submitted to the bids&tenders™ website. The opening of the bids will be conducted via Microsoft Teams immediately after the bid Closing Date and time.
