The Work consists generally of the following: Installation of new water, stormwater, and sewer piping within County-owned land at the Placer County Government Center, along with the required demolition of existing features to accept new improvements. Connections and interties to Nevada Irrigation District (NID) and Placer County Water Agency (PCWA) water sources. Expansion of an existing stormwater detention basin located west of the Auburn Jail facility. Repair of existing site features as a result of demolition required to accommodate new construction. The County has estimated cost of the Work to be Seven Million Three Hundred Twenty Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($7,322,000.00). A pre-bid job walk for informational purposes will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at 9:00am at 2855 2nd Street, Auburn, CA 95603 (Within the Placer County Government Center). The opening of the bids will be conducted via Microsoft Teams immediately after the bid Closing Date and time. Any bids received after the bid Closing Date and time specified shall be returned unopened. Call in (audio only) Placer County bid opening broadcasts are not recorded for future listening however the system-generated bid opening information is available by visiting placer.bidsandtenders.net. |
