Description: 

Placer County strives to develop and encourage cooperative purchasing efforts among local government and regional public entities.  As a result, Placer County is taking the lead role in purchasing and delivering bulk fuel and lubricant bid solicitation, in which other local government entities are participating as cooperating agencies.


Placer County is soliciting competitive bids for purchasing and delivering bulk gasoline and diesel fuel on behalf of the Department of Public Works Fleet Services Division, Placer County Fire Department, and the participating public agencies identified in this bid.  This bid shall be awarded on an all-or-none basis, and the County will award a supplier contract in the maximum amount of $2,325,000. Each participating agency will be responsible for issuing its own contract with the successful bidder.  Purchases will be made on an as-needed basis.  Placer County and the participating agencies make no specific guarantee of a minimum or maximum dollar amount or quantities to be purchased during the term of the resulting agreements. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions contained in the bid invitation and associated documents.
