Notice is hereby given that bids are being solicited by Placer County to furnish all labor, material, tax, transportation, equipment, and services necessary for Placer County Auburn Ravine Force Main Replacement Project IFB No. 20072 - Project Number: PJ00173. The Work consists generally of the following: All work for the project includes, but is not limited to, replacement of approximately 5,850 ft of 12-inch asbestos cement pipe (ACP) Auburn Ravine force main (ARFM) with 14-in high-density polyethylene (HDPE) force main. The work also includes, but is not limited to, installation of 629 feet of new 14-inch diameter force main using horizontal directional drilling methods, construction of a new gravity bypass connection to the City of Auburn sewer collection system, placement of combination air release valves, isolation valves, and blow-off assemblies for pipeline maintenance, removal and disposal of ACP, excavation, backfill, restoration of paved surfaces within public right-of-way, and traffic control during construction.
The County has estimated cost of the Work to be: Two Million Two Hundred Eleven Thousand Dollars($2,211,000.00).
