Placer County is accepting bids to furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, tax, transportation, and other means of construction necessary for annual asphalt paving services. The work consists generally of transportation, delivery and application of hot mix asphalt and asphalt concrete to pave, patch or to crack seal and slurry seal various roadways, parking areas or other areas throughout Placer County.

The resulting contract(s) will be awarded for an initial one-year period and could be renewed on a year-to-year basis at the County’s option. The County estimates the Maximum Annual Contract Value under the anticipated contract(s) will be an aggregate amount not to exceed Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars ($900,000.00).

The successful bidder shall possess at all times a valid C-12 Earthwork and Paving Contractor’s License or Class ‘A’ General Engineering Contractor’s License issued by the State of California. The work described herein is subject to the payment of not less than prevailing wages under Labor Code Section 1770 et seq.

All bids shall be accompanied by cash, cashier’s check, certified check, or Bid Bond made payable to the County in the sum of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount.
