The Work consists generally of the following: Tenant improvements remodeling performed in a number of phases in the existing building and at specific portions of the existing site. Remodeling shall provide a large warehouse area with new rack shelving and other storage shelving units, along with new staff workspace, public lobby, public counters, records storage, training and meeting rooms, voting center, elections functions, wedding room, offices, conference rooms, restrooms, and breakroom. New furnishings, new roofing, new HVAC systems, new lighting and a new backup power generator are also included. The building will be partially occupied by Placer County staff throughout the course of the remodeling construction work, with specific areas being operational for use by the County Clerk-Recorder Registrar of Voters and County Elections Office functions. The County has estimated the cost of the Work to be Eleven Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($11,400,000.00).
